History of the School
Al-Iman School was established as a full time Islamic school in 1992 with 12 students.
Now with the blessings of Allah (swt) the school serves approximately 200 students from
preschool to grade eight with a staff of more than 20 well qualified educators.
Facilities
Al-Iman School began holding classes in 1992 in the premises of the Islamic Center of Raleigh.
We added two modular classrooms in 1996. Upon completion of Phase I of the Islamic Center of Raleigh expansion,
the entire old building was converted into a school during the summer of 2000.
Al-Iman School currently shares its grounds with the Islamic Association of Raleigh and Al-Furqan weekend school, including:
- Main school building
- 8 classrooms,
- activity hall,
- computer lab,
- conference room, and
- administrative offices
- Three modular units - 3 classrooms
- Prayer hall
- Gymnasium
- Playground
